VFW 6722 Spring BBQ A Huge Success!

Kurt Heinz - 5/16/2021

Businesses and local citizens in Lillington came out on 7 May 2021 to partake in what has become a local tradition in the town. VFW Post 6722 had its Spring BBQ Sale serving pulled pork barbeque and barbecued chicken to the hungry people of Lillington. The Post’s BBQ was canceled last May due to COVID 19 restrictions. The Post depends on these sales to carry out its mission and pay bills. Members of the Post, the Auxiliary, and friends of The Post like the Lillington Shrine Club were instrumental in helping put this event together. From 11AM to 6PM, residents of Lillington turned into The Post’s parking lot off South Main Street. to get their delicious barbeque plate. It was a complete sell out. And the members of VFW Post 6722 are grateful for the support of so many citizens and businesses.

VFW Post 6722 would especially like to thank the following local businesses who ordered lunch for their employees while supporting VFW Post 6722:
