VFW Post 6722 recognizes the Harnett County Shriners for their support during our semi-annual December 2020 BBQ Sale. As a token of our appreciation, VFW Post 6722 presented a Certificate of Appreciation to the leadership of the Shriners at their officer installation dinner on the evening of 15 December 2020. Presenting the award for VFW Post 6722 was Post Adjutant Michael McGrath. The sale raises money for our post building fund and the Shriners, as in the past, were key to the success of the sale. The Shriners provided logistic support, barbecue smokers, and cooking expertise at the event. However, the support is not a one-way street. VFW Post 6722 helps with the Shriners’ BBQ sales events when they conduct fundraisers for their organization during the year. This relationship has been mutually beneficial for both organizations for quite some time.
